He has had solo shows at the Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh, York Art Gallery, Compton Verney and Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Alan Powers is a member of the Art Workers’ Guild, and writes widely about 20th-century British art and design. Lydia Wilson is a contributing editor at New Lines Magazine and writes for the Times Literary Supplement and the New York Review of Books. Hermione McCosh is a portrait and documentary photographer.
