Are you ready? In Rapture Ready, author Terry Burnside passionately shares truths on prophecy from God's Word. Exciting events are taking place in our world of 2014. When will Jesus come? Is He coming? Could it be today? Many prophecies have already occurred; even 33 prophecies were fulfilled on the day of Christ's death by crucifixion. In Rapture Ready, Terry shares an overview of prophecy. Is prophecy reliable? The proof is to know what God said in His Word. This book offers seven great, true, future events yet to be fulfilled. It's exciting to see God supernaturally give His Word to forty or so human authors over a period of 1,600 years with prophecy as the driving truth God wanted us to know (most prophecies relate to the nation of Israel and the advents of Jesus Christ). So many prophecies were fulfilled at Christ's first advent. He referred to the Scriptures being fulfilled in Him. "He said to them, 'This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms'" (Luke 24:44). Earlier, Jesus said, "It is written: 'And he was numbered with the transgressors'; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment" (Luke 22:37). The Apostle John records in the context of Christ's Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, "At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him" (John 12:16). So many more prophecies are waiting to be fulfilled in Jesus' Second Advent, seen in two phases: the Rapture and the Revelation. Both are presented in detail in Rapture Ready. When you read and study the pages of Rapture Ready, you will be challenged to rethink what God has told us about the future. Are you Rapture Ready? Rev.
