More than just a story is told: The Rap Quotes book documents how the creator of his idea, Jason Shelowitz, travels across the country with friends and photographer Aymann Ismail. And they don't do that without action: In every city, in every district, they hang red and purple signs with site-specific rap lyrics by well-known personalities. People are supposed to pass them by and without thinking much, get a smile magically conjured up in their faces. Jay Shell, as the initiator calls himself by stage name, takes you along in this band on the way from New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia to Houston and much further. And that, as he has already promised, will not have been his last sign and not his last city – we are looking forward to the beautiful memories that can make everyday life a bit better for everyone!
