Even if someone can’t express their love, it can still be felt. "A Rainbow Shines Through Clara" is the true story of a heartwarming connection between a teacher and a student with autism who is learning to communicate. As Clara grows and changes like a beautiful butterfly, she teaches everyone around her how to find the color in the world by leading them over the rainbow. "In her book, A Rainbow Shines Through Clara, the author tells of one girl's journey to overcome communication and sensory difficulties, but also celebrates her creative talents and abilities throughout the story. All individuals with autism have unique and various methods to express themselves. This story teaches the importance of taking extra time and having patience with others no matter how they communicate with us. Clara, like most individuals with autism, wants to share her love and have a sense of belonging. The author does a good job at emphasizing how much we can learn and discover from those like Clara, who is an inspiration to all of us." - Lori DeMonia Award-Winning Author of "Leah’s Voice" and "Love for Logan" Recipient of the Temple Grandin Literary Award
