Calamity strikes the lives of twins Gracie and Ben Chambers after their parents are suddenly killed in a devastating car accident. The twins find solace in each other in order to cope with their tragedy, but as they journey into adulthood, the twins must come to terms with their misfortune in order to experience the world away from the town in which they were brought up. Through this journey, Gracie learns life lessons about the world she thought she knew, the extraordinary power of love, and the unavoidable truths that have ignited a supernatural battle between good and evil. As the characters struggle to find their true identities, forces beyond their control begin to impact their lives.
