After being brutally stabbed multiple times and left for dead, and with her friend murdered beside her, Kay Wilson somehow managed to rise to her feet and stagger gagged, bound, barefoot and bleeding profusely over a mile through a forest, hoping only that she would die in a place where her body would be found. Instead, she survived. Horrific, yet also surprisingly uplifting, The Rage Less Traveled is an extraordinary memoir of an ordinary woman a civilian who resisted terrorists, battled for her life, struggled with appalling injuries and with PTSD, confronted her assailants in court, and went on to fight against governments that fund the terrorist violence that threatens us today. Kay Wilson is one of the most heroic people I have ever met. Colonel Richard Kemp CBE, former British Infantry Commander
Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Kay Wilson is a motivational speaker who addresses a variety of audiences all over the world and has delivered a speech to the United Nations. In her role as representative of Palestinian Media Watch, she lobbies Western governments to end the foreign aid that rewards her would-be murderers. Together with a Muslim friend, she has created The Yellow Brick Road, an educational project that teaches children in a Palestinian refugee camp emotional intelligence, empathy, courage, and to cherish their lives. Wilson, whose actions led to the capture of her assailants, has been recognized by the Israeli Police and the Israeli Security Agency for her courage. The attack was the subject of an acclaimed Israeli documentary, Black Forest, broadcast in 2018.
