The inspiration for this book is the love of my life. During a conversation with her, I came to know that she loves to read novels. Later when I decided to propose her, like every other guy I wanted it to be very special. So I wrote a short story "My Life of Seven Days" and proposed her after she read it. Later I wrote few more stories because she liked the first one very much and her wishes were my choices. As time flowed and like every relationship we had ups and down. By the time I ended my third story we broke up. I would not like to say that it was her fault or my fault coz when we came into a relationship it was our decision and when we broke up it was also our decision. Now, I am in no contact with her for more than 3 years, and there is no way I can reach her. I don't want to go back and interfere with her life neither I want her to come back, I don't want to say her that look I still love you or something like that. All I want is somewhere, somehow she keep reading my stories and with a hope that se will read my stories I am publishing this book. By the means of this book, I want to say that she gave me moment in life with which I can die with a smile. She changed me into a better person. The book is a collection of 5 short stories, which includes fiction and non-fiction as well. Each story is independently written however, I would like you to read the book in order they are presented as it is the order in which they were written. I started writing when I was 18, it took 6 years to complete this book. I will not say it’s a true story but the experiences shared are genuinely mine, they are the one which I lived. Each story is crafted with pure essence of love and contains a vivid variety emotions. The book is enriched with some sharayi and in some places, Hindi words with English fonts have also been used. The names given as a heading in the story represents the person from whom’s perspective the story is written. This book is not only about me, a lot of space have been intentionally left to be filled by the reader, fill them with yourself and you be a part of it. Let go everything and rejuvenate your senses of love.

Devendra Kumar Verma, an author, a believer, a dreamer. He has recently completed his Master's in Structural Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai. The journey of his writing started during his engineering from BITR Chhattisgarh. He is an artist and he says “An artist art is not, what he creates and how he creates, an artist art is what he perceives and how he perceives". His life experiences have been widespread, he has spent his life in 4 different town and cities. He is a state level chess player, an event planner and event designer, likes to do sketching and craft work. He is also a techie and likes to code. He wants to be a professor and he lives his life with a belief "Keep on doing good things and good things will ultimately come to you".
