Artikelbeschreibung des Verkäufers

This is a biography of 1950s singer Buddy Holly, singer of songs such as "Peggy Sue", Rave On" and "Not Fade Away". Artists such as Linda Ronstadt, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and Elvis Costello have made cover versions of his records. This book explores the story behind the songs and traces the singer's life from his childhood to his last tour in February 1959. There are personal reminiscences from Holly's friends and relatives and the people who worked with him such as Jerry Allison and Waylon Jennings. The book also includes a complete discography, dates of tours and personal appearances, and reproductions of many letters and lyric sheets. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.

We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
