�ber die Autorinnen und Autoren

OSWALD CHAMBERS (1874-1917) was the son of a Scottish Baptist pastor and was converted under the ministry of Charles H Spurgeon. Following formal theological training in Scotland, he traveled throughout the United Kingdom, the Far East, and the United States, lecturing on the Scriptures. In 1911, he founded the Bible Training Center in Clapham, London. He died in Egypt in 1917. His wife, a stenographer, compiled his books from his lectures and published them after his death. "My Utmost for His Highest" has become an international best-seller.

David McCasland is the foremost authority on the works of Oswald Chambers. He is the author of Oswald Chambers: Abandoned to God, which won the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association Gold Medallion for biography and is the compiler and editor of The Complete Works of Oswald Chambers. David�s other books include Eric Liddell: Pure Gold, the biography of Scottish missionary and Olympic champion Eric Liddell.
