Thomas Lockhaven was honing his craft by moonlighting as an advertising consultant writing spots for print, Internet and TV. In his spare time, he was working on a children's detective series. Thomas met Grace Lockhaven at a gym. They became inseparable and now are working together writing books for fiction and nonfiction.

In 2000, he was honored by the Vice-President of the United States with a letter of commendation for his exceptional editing work on "The Holocaust Chronicle: A History on Words and Pictures."
