• Coding and managing your data
• Working with complex data including social media datasets
• Producing effective data visualization
• Collaborating with others

Kristi Jackson has a Masters of Education degree from the University of Vermont and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Education from the University of Colorado. She began using qualitative data analysis software in 1993, has been an expert and trainer of the QSR software (NUD*IST and NVivo) since 1996, became Vice President of an evaluation firm in Denver in 1999, and established Queri in 2002. She spends a third of her time collecting data for evaluation research projects (primarily in education and health), a third of her time using NVivo to analyze data, and a third of her time consulting with (and training) other researchers. Along with Pat Bazeley, she co-authored the most recent Sage book on Qualitative Data Analysis with NVivo, and she is a principal organizer of the Digital Tools strand at the International Congress of Qualitative Inquiry. Her current research interests include conceptualizations of transparency in the qualitative research process, particularly among doctoral students and their dissertation committees.
