Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Twice nominated for a Pulitzer prize, Mark T. Sullivan, 38, has been a deer hunter since the age of 10. He spent 2 years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Agadez, Niger, after receiving a Bachelors in English from Hamilton College in 1980. After graduating with highest honours from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism, he worked as a financial correspondent for Reuters Ltd. in Chicago and covered the US Congress for States News; Service. In 1986 Sullivan joined the staff of The San Diego Union-Tribune and was twice nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for a series of articles. Since 1991 he has lived with his wife and two sons in central Vermont. His award-winning writing has appeared in Yankee.
