In the first issue of this five-part graphic-novel series, Orson “Orry” Thitchafer is a below-average nobody with an above-average chance at meeting his soulmate—or at least someone with a pulse—at a protest rally. But one wrong turn sets up a daisy chain of disastrous mishaps until Orry is accidentally transformed into sentient loose-leaf paper.
Desperate to become human again, Orry asks the help of his “high”ly incompetent best friend, who suggests that he look into an evil enterprise known as MALefactory, with its array of strange devices and serums. As Orry pursues his humanity, will he be seduced by the malevolence the company represents or embrace his new powers for good, assuming he can figure out what those powers are?
