A result of more than fifteen years of research and study, Prophecy: Past, Present, and Future examines the Bible's Book of Daniel and its predictions of some of history's major events. Author Calev Ben Avraham explains how God uses the royalty as signposts in the prophetic time element-known by only a few biblical scholars-thus making it possible to pinpoint the exact time in prophecy for the end of days and the ending of Gentile rule over the earth. In Prophecy: Past, Present, and Future, Avraham refers to the Babylonian dynasty of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon; Cyrus, king of the Persians; Alexander, the great emperor of Greece; and the emergence of Christianity under the Roman emperor Constantine. Through the Book of Daniel, he shows how the prophecy pertains not only to abdication for the royals but also to death by fatal accidents, such as Princess Grace and Princess Diana of England. He also explains how God will gather his people from the four corners of the earth back to the Holy Land in the very, very near future. Expand your study of prophecy and gain a new understanding of the years to come.

Chapter One
Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon
In the second year of Nebuchadnezzar's reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams. His spirit was agitated, and his sleep was broken. Then the king summoned the necromancers, the astrologers, the wizards, and the Chaldeans, and they came and stood before the king. The king said to them, "I have dreamed a dream. And the spirit within me is agitated to know the meaning of the dream."
The Chaldeans spoke to the king in Aramaic, "O, king, live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will relate the interpretation."
The king responded to the Chaldeans, "The dream has escaped me! Now if you do not make the dream and its interpretation known to me, you will be cut into bits, and your houses will be made into a dunghill. However, if you tell me the dream and its interpretation, gifts, rewards, and great honor will you receive from me; only tell me the dream and its interpretation."
They again answered the king, "Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will then relate the interpretation of the dream."
In his fury, the king answered them, "I know that for a certainty, at this time you are doomed, because you realize that the dream has escaped me. If you do not make known to me the dream, there is only one sentence for you; for you have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, for you seek to gain time! Only tell me the dream, and I will know that you can relate the interpretation of the dream."
Then the Chaldeans said to the king, "There is no man on the face of the earth who can relate what the king wishes. That is why no king, leader, or ruler has ever requested such a thing of any necromancer, astrologer, or Chaldean. What the king requests is difficult, and there is none that can relate it to the king, except the angels whose dwelling is not with people!"
In answer to this, the king grew furious, and greatly angry, he ordered the execution of all the wise men of Babylon. Moreover, as the decree was being implemented and the wise men were slain, Daniel and his three companions were also sought for execution. Then Daniel gave counsel and advice to Aryoch, the king's chief executioner, who had gone out to slay all the wise men of Babylon. Daniel said to Aryoch, the king's official: "Why is the king's decree so urgent?"
Then Aryoch told Daniel the reason. Daniel went, and he requested of the king that he be given time to interpret his dream. Daniel then went home and told his companions, Chananyah, Mishael, and Azaryah, the story. He requested that they pray to the God of heaven for mercy concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his companions should not be destroyed with the rest of the sages of Babylon. Then, in the visions of the night, the secret was revealed to Daniel. Daniel then blessed the God of heaven. 'Daniel then went to Aryoch, whom the king had appointed to execute the wise men of Babylon. He went and addressed him thus: "Do not slay the sages of Babylon. Bring me before the king, for I will tell the king the interpretation of the king's dream."
Then Aryoch in haste brought Daniel before the king and said to him: "I have found a man from the exiles of Judah who will make known the interpretation to the king."
Then the king, whose name was Nebuchadnezzar, exclaimed to Daniel: "Are you capable of making the dream known to me, the dream I saw and its interpretation?"
Daniel answered the king and said, "The secret the king requests no sages, astrologers, necromancers, or magicians can tell the king. Nevertheless, there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has informed King Nebuchadnezzar what will be at the end of days. Your dream and the visions in your mind while resting on your bed are the following: You, O king, your thoughts came while on your bed about what is to happen in the future, and the Revealer of secrets has informed you what will happen. As for myself, this secret was revealed to me not because I posses more wisdom than any other being, but rather to make the dream and its interpretation known to the king, so that you may know what has occupied your thoughts,. You, 0 king were watching and behold! A huge image; this image which was immense, and its brightness was excessive, it stood facing you, and its form was awesome. This image, its head was of fine gold, the breast and arms of silver, its belly and its thighs of copper, its legs of iron, its feet part of iron and part of earthenware. As you watched, a rock was hewn without hands and it struck the image on its feet of iron and earthenware and shattered the image. Then the earthenware, the copper, the silver and the gold were shattered together. They became like the chaff from the summer threshing floors, and the wind carried them away, and no more trace of them could be found. And the rock that struck the image became a great mountain and it filled the whole earth. This is the dream, and we will tell its interpretation before the king.
You, O king, whom the King of kings, Who is the God of heaven, has given a strong kingdom, power, and honor; for wherever people, wild beasts, and the birds of the sky dwell, He has given them to you, and has made you ruler over them all, you are the head of gold. After you there will arise another kingdom which will be inferior to you, and another, a third kingdom of copper, which will rule the whole earth. The fourth kingdom will be as strong as iron.
Just as iron flattens all and as iron shatters all these, will it shatter and destroy. The feet and the toes that you saw, part earthenware and part of iron, it will be a divided kingdom, for it will have some of the firmness of iron, then as you saw iron mixed with earthenware. The toes part of iron and part of earthenware, part of that kingdom will be powerful while the other part will be broken. That you saw the iron mixed with earthenware, they will mingle with the seed of men, but they will not cleave to each other, for this is like iron, which does not blend with earthenware. In the days of these kingdoms will the God of heaven establish a kingdom that will never be harmed nor will its sovereignty be left to another people; it will shatter and destroy all of these kingdoms, and it will stand forever. Just as you saw that a rock was hewn from the mountain not by human hands, and it shattered the iron, the copper, the earthenware, the silver...
