Inhaltsangabe:
This book is Volume 1 of the proceedings of the collocated events 1) The 7th International Multi-Conference on Complexity, Informatics and Cybernetics (IMCIC 2016) and 2) The 7th International Conference on Society and Information Technologies (ICSIT 2016). It contains 48 articles of those reviewed, accepted, and presented at the joint conference. Volume 2 contains 42 articles that were also presented at the conference. A total of 90 articles, from 29 countries were published in both volumes. The submissions were reviewed as carefully as time permitted, according to a two-tier reviewing methodology that requires the traditional double-blind and the not usual non-blind reviewing methods. 485 additional reviewers (from 77 countries) helped the Program Committee in the double-blinded reviews, and 242 reviewers, from 51 countries, provided support for the non-blind reviews. A total of 1402 reviews made by 727 reviewers (who made at least one review), from 82 countries contributed to the quality achieved in this proceedings volume. This means an average of 6.81 reviews per submission (because 206 submissions were received). Each registered author had access, via the conference web site, to the reviews that recommended the acceptance of their respective submissions. Each registered author could get information about: 1) the average of the reviewers' evaluations according to 8 criteria, and the average of a global evaluation of his/her submission; and 2) the comments and the constructive feedback made by the reviewers, who recommended the acceptance of his/her submission, so the author was able to improve the final version of the paper. The purpose of organizing IMCIC/ICSIT 2016 and their collocated events was to provide a multi-disciplinary forum for both disciplinary and interdisciplinary communication. The mentioned collocated events and their special tracks were organized, held in Orlando, Florida, USA, and sponsored by the International Institute of Informatics and Systemics (IIIS, www.iiis.org), member of the International Federation for Systems Research (IFSR, www.ifsr.org, based in Austria). The IIIS is a multi-disciplinary organization for interdisciplinary communication and integration, which includes about 5000 members. Consequently, a main purpose of the IIIS is to foster knowledge integration processes, interdisciplinary communication, and integration of academic activities. Based on 1) the transdisciplinarity of the systemic approach and its emphasis on relationships and integrating processes, and 2) the multi-disciplinary support of cybernetics’ and informatics’ concepts, notions, theories, technologies, and tools, the IIIS has been organizing multi-disciplinary conferences as a platform for fostering interdisciplinary communication and knowledge integration processes. Consequently, these proceedings contain both: papers for intra- and interdisciplinary written communication. The objective of organizing IMCIC 2016, and its proceedings, is to provide, in the increasingly related areas of Complexity, Informatics and Cybernetics a multi-disciplinary forum, oriented to foster interdisciplinary communication. Their common transdisciplinarity characterizes and communicates them, generating important relations among them. They work together to create a whole new way of thinking and practice. ICSIT 2016 and ICETI 2016 are also related to each other, as well as with IMCIC 2016 and, as a whole, are producing, or might produce synergistic relationships, with Information and Communication Technologies. This is why these events were collocated and their proceedings were included in the same volume. Consequently, this proceedings volume is oriented to academics, researchers, consultants, professionals, innovators, and practitioners from all the mentioned fields, in order to support interdisciplinary communication.
