Princesses Mellie, Allie, and Libby are back in another rollicking, royal adventure. When the girls begin to argue about which princess is the prettiest in the land, they decide to hold a contest. But of course, the girls get side-tracked helping others on their way to the contest leaving Princess Mellie as the muddiest, Princess Allie as the yuckiest, and Princess Libby as the drippiest. Kate Lum is the author of several Bloomsbury picture books, including Princesses Are Not Quitters, Princesses Are Not Perfect, Princesses Are Not Just Pretty, What! Cried Granny, and Stanley and the No-Hic Machine. She has won the Red House Children's Book Award, the Japan Picture Book Award, the Nick Jr. Family Magazine Best Book of the Year Award, and been shortlisted for the German Youth Literature Prize, among others. Kate holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia. She lives in Canada with her husband, musician Bryan Potvin, and has two adult children.

Sue Hellard is the illustrator of Princesses Are Not Quitters!, Princesses Are Not Perfect, Where's My Hug?, and Madame Pamplemousse and Her Incredible Edibles. She lives in England.
