From the Poetic Prayer Collection by Cara Barilla, I Pray for My Teachers guides children through the gates of a Catholic school where every classroom becomes a chapel of learning as each staff member will be honoured through a reflection of gratitude. With rhythmic verse and hidden language techniques, each page highlights the dedicated souls who guide, nurture, protect, and inspire; from teachers and leaders to the hardworking canteen staff, to grow morals of kindness, courage, compassion, and healing light. We invite young readers to recognise the sacred role of the staff who shape their days and strengthen their spirit. Each page opens a new window of understanding, helping children connect deeply to gratitude, faith, and the gentle glow of God's presence in their learning. A warm, wise, and uplifting book that celebrates education as a ministry of love, and every staff member as a beacon along the path of growth
