Inhaltsangabe
Of all psychiatric disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) poses one of the greatest challenges to clinicians. Drs Davidson and Foa, pioneers in the study of PTSD, have teamed up to edit this volume. They have assembled DSM-IV committee members to share their opinions on current and future directions in the study of PTSD. Balancing research, theory, and clinical practice, this volume synthesizes everything known to date on the aetiology, clinical features, and diagnosis of this disabling disorder.
