Gail Levin has collected "Hopperania" for many years, including poems for this volume. The preeminent Hopper scholar, she has organized many exhibitions and is author of Edward Hopper: A Catalogue Raisonne, Edward Hopper: An Intimate Biography, Hopper's Places, and many other books on twentieth-century American art. She is professor of art history at Baruch College and The Graduate School of the City University of New York, and lives in New York City.
