My name is Angelo, I was born to a life of abuse, burdens, and inexorable hope in the city known as the symbol of transience and illusion to the world, Las Vegas, NV, USA. Tossed from house to house ever since I was a child, bloody beatings from the hands of my mother, abandonments as a teenager, foster care, deaths of loved ones and friends, loss of mind, and the struggles of attempting to forge a better life have been my trial. I enjoy exercising, art, seeking answers to life, volunteering time. I spent most of my time writing poetry at coffee shops around Las Vegas and/or in solitary night. I hope my poetry can resonate with you and console something.
