Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Rakesh Kumar Jat is currently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Fruit Science, College of Horticulture, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Jagudan, Mehsana, Gujarat. He has completed his B.Sc. (Agriculture) Honours from RAU, Bikaner (Rajasthan), M.Sc. Fruit Science (Hort.) from NAU, Navsari (Gujarat) and completed Ph.D. in Fruit Science (Hort.) from Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Jagudan, Mehsana, (Gujarat). He has more than 9 years of experience in teaching, research and extension. Dr. Jat is currently guiding 5 M.Sc. students and handling several research projects. He has been awarded Young Scientist Award (2022). He has published several research papers in reputed national and international journals, book chapters and popular articles and also contributed to several recommendations for farming community and nurserymen.

Mohan Lal Jat is pursuing Ph.D in Department of Horticulture, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Haryana. He has completed his B.Sc. (Horticulture) Honours from Agriculture University, Kota (Rajasthan), M.Sc. Ag. (Horticulture) from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Udham Singh Nagar (Uttarakhand). He qualified JRF (21st rank), SRF (2nd rank) and NET exam conducted by ICAR. He has published 10 research papers in reputed national and international journals, 4 book chapters and 15 popular articles. He is also a lifetime member of several scientific societies.
