Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Dr. Jay Swallow is Cheyenne-Sioux and a U.S. Navy veteran, who has preached, taught, pastored, fed, clothed, and prayed for native people from the Arctic Circle to Central America for over fifty years. In recent years he has travelled to other continents to minister to indigenous and non-indigenous people, with the intent of healing their lands and nations through the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. Dr. Swallow is well known for his understanding of native history and his humorous stories. E. Norbert Smith, or Doc Gator as his students called him, earned a doctorate in zoology but also has an extensive background in electronics. He has put heart rate transmitters on more species of wild animals than anyone in the world and was the first to study the heart rate responses of frightened animals. For over ten years he studied the behavioral and physiological thermoregulation of alligators. He caught, studied, and released over two hundred wild alligators some up to 750 pounds and still has all his body parts. As a professor of electronics and biology at several universities, he published technical papers pointing out some of the weaknesses of evolution. As a result, he was denied tenure and became a truck driver until his retirement five years ago. He continued to study and produce books and articles, which now number over one hundred. Five children s books have been published and several more are nearly finished. (Search for Al-the-Gator at Amazon.com.) On the serious side, he has recently published Creation or Evolution? Consider the Evidence Before Deciding, Vol. I, and Sacred Cows in Science: No Objectivity Allowed. Both are available at Amazon.com.
