A Place in the World is a heartfelt debut poetry collection by Anusha Manekar that captures the beautiful chaos of growing up - the confusion, longing, hope, heartbreak, and quiet moments of selfdiscovery that shape us along the way. These poems capture the somewhat messy, sometimes magical journey of teenage years, sprinkled with hope, resentment, awe, confusion, euphoria, and exhaustion. From gloomy rainy tales and fighting the illusion of perfection, to realising how we slowly become the people we love, this collection is the inner monologue of an unapologetically dramatic girl trying to find a place where she truly belongs. A proud fauji brat who grew up across India, Anusha brings a unique sensitivity and perspective to her writing. Her words weave together memories, emotions, nature, and relationships with honesty and emotional depth. Available as a paperback, this first edition is perfect for readers who enjoy contemporary poetry, introspective writing, and emotionally resonant literature. A Place in the World is a collection that lingers long after the final page.

"In the sea of people who believe their words can 'change the world', Anusha Manekar quietly does her role with poetry by her side. A proud fauji brat, she has grown up across India and that makes her who she is. Anusha now lives in Delhi and devotes herself to the noble arts of reading, writing, watching cute movies and creating an unreasonable number of playlists. When she is not wandering through the city's streets making pieces for her writings, she can be found at her desk, typing about the very city she calls home. You can follow her on Instagram @a.n.u.s.h.a_w.r.i.t.e.s (Anusha Manekar) or contact at anushamanekarwrites@gmail.com "
