Successful Stencil Store team, Jill Visser and Michael Flinn, take away the mystery from stencilling, the most enduringly popular home-decorating craft. Their new Picture Book of Stencilling is a collection of inspirational photographs which demonstrate the visual impact that can be achieved by the tasteful use of colour, coupled with the application of stencilling and other innovative paint techniques. The book features a gallery of specially commissioned, full-colour pictures of beautifully styled contemporary rooms, all of which have been enhanced with special paint effects. These include a Gothic bathroom, Italianate bedroom and a Shaker-style kitchen. In addition the book features chapters on floors, trompe l'oeil effects, furniture, fabrics and how to deal with specific architectural features. Finally, a comprehensive resources section provides a full listing of where to buy stencils, paints, equipment and accessories.
