Heather Couper (Author)
Heather Couper is a past President of both the British Astronomical Association and the Society for Popular Astronomy. She is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and the Institute of Physics, and a former Millennium Commissioner, for which she was awarded the CBE in 2007.
After researching at Cambridge, Professor Nigel Henbest was appointed consultant to both New Scientist magazine and the Royal Greenwich Observatory. He is a future astronaut with Virgin Galactic.
The author has written over fifty books on astronomy and space, as well as presenting/producing dozens of radio and TV programmes for the international market.
