Philadelphia, known as the birthplace of America, is home to a thriving artistic community and a wealth of architectural and historic sites. It is also famous for its cultural diversity, glorious parks and sporting and cultural venues, and a magnificent riverfront. It is an ever-vibrant city that offers beauty, excitement, and many of our country’s most significant historic sites and icons. "Our Philadelphia" is a pictorial celebration that showcases the city’s dramatic vistas, offering a glimpse into this unique metropolis. From the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the National Constitution Center to the city’s rich maritime legacy; from the charm of Society Hill and Quince Street to Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continually occupied residential street in the United States; from the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s impressive collection and the city’s dynamic cultural destination, the Avenue of the Arts, to the lasting legacy of our founding fathers, "Our Philadelphia" highlights the natural, historical, and cultural offerings of the City of Brotherly Love.
