Über die Autorinnen und Autoren: Bette Reed Smith taught music to children, grades K-6, for 31 years in Corfu, New York. She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. While participating in the All Original Playwright Workshop, Ms. Smith began to write, primarily for the theatre. Several of her short plays were produced at The Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks, with "Self Checkout" being published in the anthology, 30 Short Plays for Passionate Actors. This is Ms. Smith's first published children's book.

Samuel Jack has been an illustrator, writer, and actor for nearly his entire life. With an unceasing passion for the arts, he currently studies writing and acting at the University of North Texas. Look for his inspired drawings in the new release, Climbing Angel's Christmas Treasury, a collection of Christmas-themed short stories and poetry.

Lisa Soland comes to the literary world as a renowned playwright with over 50 publications by Samuel French, Inc., Smith & Kraus, Applause Books, and Dramatic Publishing. Her children's books include Thump, Somebunny to Love, The Truth About God's Rainbow, The Boy and The Bagel Necklace, and God's Hands & Feet.
