But the Lord was not in the wind, and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake, and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire, and after the fire a still small voice, which caused the prophet to wrap his head in, his mantle, and the Lord was in it. Whether they are reminded of these circumstances or not, here is first the sound of a rushing, mighty wind, then the cloven tongues. Like as of fire, sitting upon each of them, and after that the fulness of the Spirit.
