The aim was to establish the strategies deaf learners employ when learning English Language owing to the fact that they cannot hear or speak. English Language in Kenya is the Language of instructions and also examinations. The deaf learners are expected to use the language for the same purposes as other regular learners and compete favourably in the job market. The study recommended that the curriculum for the deaf learners be separated from that of regular learners.
