Maska and Taima are two Native American boys who enjoy playing with sticks. When one special stick causes an argument between them, they learn about a different stick that is even more special. This new stick can actually solve arguments!--- The story is inspired by the native American legend of The Talking Stick. It can be used as a tool by parents and teachers to demonstrate to children how to use a Talking Stick to listen and communicate peacefully. *** "A wonderful book about a Native American cultural tradition that teaches us a valuable life's lesson. A great resource for both parents and teachers."- Matt Rowe, Curator, Museum of Native American History - http://www.monah.us/museum.html ***
