Two men. One apartment. A past they can't outrun. After a lifetime of ideology and estrangement, Yuval disgraced, ex-soldier, agnostic by necessity finds himself seeking shelter in the unlikeliest place; the quiet, threadbare apartment of Musa, a devout man he once would've called an enemy. But this isn't a story of redemption. Not exactly. It's a story of breath held silences, of prayers not spoken, of nights too long to sleep through. As the weeks stretch on, old ghosts surface not in screams, but in sighs, glances, and dreams too vivid to forget. Musa tends to his routines with practiced patience. Yuval drifts through the days, fractured and haunted, unable to say what he needs. Neither of them tries to convert the other. They simply... stay. And slowly, impossibly, a kind of cohabitation forms. Not peace. Not forgiveness. Something quieter. Something real. But when Yuval's estranged brother resurfaces with a goodbye that feels like a verdict, the fragile tension snaps. Grief returns with teeth. Loyalties blur. And both men are forced to confront a devastating question; What do you do when survival meant becoming someone you don't recognize? Taut, meditative, and quietly explosive, Parallax is a psychological drama about guilt without resolution, faith without certainty, and the human cost of staying when everything else tells you to run.
