From Publishers Weekly:
In an effort to demystify museums for children, Belloli and Godard proffer a unique boxed kit that includes a spiral-bound book, three sets of "floors" and free-standing "walls" that form miniature galleries and artwork (both punch-out and Colorform stickers) to place within them. Illustrated with a profusion of photographs, the book's succint text explains the history of museums, describing those who founded them and those who work in them, and emphasizes their role as a repository for collections. A section at the end provides directions for assembling the rest of the kit. Readers are encouraged to go beyond curating the kit's pint-sized galleries and to establish their own collections as well. It's a creative collaboration, and should take much of the starch out of the museum experience. All ages.
