Ovid Travesty: A Burlesque Upon Ovids Epistles is a book written by Alexander Radcliffe and published in 1889. The book is a parody of Ovid's Epistles, a collection of letters that Ovid wrote to various people in his life. Radcliffe's book takes the form of a series of humorous letters, written in a style that is intentionally over-the-top and ridiculous. The letters cover a wide range of topics, from love and romance to politics and religion, and are filled with puns, jokes, and wordplay. The book is considered a classic example of Victorian-era humor, and is still read and enjoyed by readers today. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
