Martha Teater, MA, LMFT, LPC, LCAS, has a wealth of experience as an international compassion fatigue educator and consultant. She has trained thousands of healthcare and mental health clinicians in detecting, intervening, and preventing compassion fatigue. As an American Red Cross disaster mental health volunteer, Martha has been deployed many times to provide support to traumatized people across the country. John Ludgate, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist, who has worked as a psychotherapists for almost 30 years. He is the author of Heal Yourself: A CBT Approach to Reducing Therapist Distress and Increasing Therapeutic Effectiveness and several other books, book chapters and journal articles. As well as having an active clinical practice, he is involved in training and supervision in CBT.
