Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Oliver Moran is a man with clinically diagnosed psychosis, manic depression and schizophrenia. a man who has been incarcerated within various care facilities for the past 25 years, more than half of his lifetime. Yet, for all his personal issues and the prejudices that they bring, Oliver is one of the most accomodating and pleasurable people that I have had the honour of speaking to and, when it comes to writing poetry, curiously talented too. As such, I invited Oliver to write down some of his muses for me and in turn, promised to produce a small book for him that we could try and sell for two aims. The first was to raise a little cash for mental health charities and the second, which is what I believe Oliver craves the most, is to get him a little notoriety. Hopefully, with a little help from yourselves, both goals can be achieved.
