Artikelbeschreibung des Verkäufers
7 x 4.5 inches (18 x 11.5 cm). Some foxing visible on versos. 6 original illustrations for William Makepeace Thackerays poem "Little Billee." The illustrations are bound in a book covered in wheat and navy cloth. The illustrations are captioned on opposite pages and the illustrators name and date of creations appear on the last pages. There is very little that is known about Philip Spence (1873-1945) except that he co-created the anti-Hitler parody of Struwwelpeter, Der Struweelhitler.
