Kenneth Wilson is a skillful and mindful storyteller. With humour and humanity, he weaves together different tales drawn from his many years of pilgrimage and guiding, urging us to embark on both a physical and personal journey. We are invited to follow the trails left two and a half thousand years ago by the Buddha across North India and Nepal, the land of the Buddha's birth, enlightenment and death. Along the way, Kenneth Wilson introduces us to a land ancient and contemporary, rich in sacred geography. As we journey, he gently unfolds the Buddha's teachings, reflecting upon themes of birth, enlightenment, death and emptiness.

Kenneth Wilson lives in rural Cumbria, with Sarah and their two teenage daughters. Here he writes, plays the cello, builds tree houses and tries to walk softly on the earth. He has been a town planner, regional manager for a housing company, a property developer, and a Church of England Vicar. He began visiting India in 1983, exploring its sacred geography. Through this journeying, he has developed a rich understanding of the life of the Buddha. He founded Soul of India Tours in 1992, and has led many groups of travellers and pilgrims to India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Tibet.
