The subject has, as yet, lost nothing of its importance; for, the disease, at the moment I am writing, is, according to my observation, hardly less prevalent, or less fatal, than at any period during the reign of the present epidemic. And, should a rigorous winter succeed to the unusually dry and hot summer we have just ex perienced, and which has occasioned a scanty production of some of the most.
