This title covers a range of skills required in the Number attainment target. Addition to 20, subtraction to 20, number patterns - odds and evens, place values - tens and units, multiplication, division, first fractions (halves and quarters) and other areas are covered. Number-based skills are central to National Curriculum maths. Special features include: "Parent point" on every spread to explain the purpose of each activity at which the child does the exercise, with lots of ideas for things to do at home to practise maths skills; a "Skills checklist" at the back of the book; and two "Make and play" board games on the card insert.
