Observation of the most recent religious current events gives a clear impression of the confusion of church polity in various religious systems. While one order practices its way, another view rises in contradiction to that system. This leaves the student without a basis for a well-founded faith order.

In A New Testament Diaconate, author Tom Duff Fritts presents scholarly research of the Bible and some ecclesiastical systems. This scholarly study reveals a need for a fresh look at the Bible regarding their diaconate-their deacons. This work examines each time the word or its derivative is discovered in the King James Version, along with its translation and grammatical structure from Hebrew and Greek.

Dr. Fritts has taken in hand this task of investigation to help students of the Bible. By noting where in the Bible diakonos, ordain, or their translation is used, A New Testament Diaconate helps readers gain a more perfect view of the diaconate and the New Testament as a whole.
