Über die Autorinnen und Autoren: Dr. William D. Sroufe is an award winning educator, and division superintendent in the Commonwealth of Virginia. In addition to his work in education Dr. Sroufe has written two books of poetry: Words from a Journal (2014) and Starting a Conversation: Poems and Prose (2017) both by Akmaeon Publishing. A former U.S. Air Force journalist, he has also done feature writing for Airman Magazine, The Pilot, and The Roanoke Times. Dr. Sroufe has a Doctorate in Education with a major in Educational Leadership. He has taught 8-12th grade Physical Science, World Geography, Information Technology and Civics in Virginia.

Rachelle Chartrand is an award-winning screenwriter, producer and author. In addition to her extensive work in film and TV, in September 2014, she released her memoir, CHRYSALIS: A Dark and Delicious Diary of Emergence and has since ghostwritten or co-written four others. Rachelle has a Bachelor of Secondary Education with a major in Physics and a minor in Math, but has an eclectic teaching resume, having taught students of all ages and backgrounds around the world, including young offenders and at-risk youth at an independent school in Vancouver, BC.
