- Buch 1 von 2: Rupert Mulligan Golfing Mysteries
Book 1 in the Rupert Mulligan Golfing Mysteries
The story opens with Rupert Mulligan receiving an urgent plea for assistance from Michael Foley, a wealthy businessman residing in Magennis, Northern Ireland. Foley is convinced his life is under imminent threat and seeks Mulligan's immediate intervention. Intrigued by this troubling request, Mulligan sets off for Ireland accompanied by his trusted companion, Colonel Lockhart.
Upon arriving, they are confronted by the grim scene of Foley's brutal murder on his own golf course, close to a newly refurbished putting green. The investigation quickly intensifies as Mulligan and Lockhart probe deeper into the complicated lives of those closest to Foley, including his alluring young wife, his enigmatic son, and a peculiar neighbor whose motives remain obscure.
As Mulligan digs deeper, he reveals an intricate web of deceit, concealed identities, and long-hidden secrets. He faces a complex array of potential suspects, each harboring distinct reasons to wish Foley harm. With pressure mounting and the Ulster police anxious to resolve the case swiftly, Mulligan must utilize his exceptional deductive abilities to uncover the murderer's identity before they have the opportunity to strike again.
