Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Roxann Kriete taught at both the elementary and secondary levels during her thirty-five-year career in education. She began working at Northeast Foundation for Children (NEFC)in 1985, retiring in 2011 after serving for ten years as NEFC's executive director. Roxann authored the previous editions of The Morning Meeting Book and co-authored The First Six Weeks of School (NEFC, 2000). In addition to revising The Morning Meeting Book, she has recently been writing a series of short stories.Carol Davis has worked as a teacher, counselor, and consultant for grades K–8 for over twenty years. Currently, Carol is a professional development designer and Responsive Classroom consultant at NEFC. She is also the author of 80 Morning Meeting Ideas for Grades 3–6 and co-author of Parents & Teachers Working Together (NEFC, 2005).
