Trauma brings decisions, and change is bound to follow. When you're the daughter of a philanthropic ambassador and a southern socialite, the threads of your future are inherently woven into a blanket of high expectations. In The Morning After, Elyse Adams experiences a devastating event which causes her to question her beliefs as well as her reality. The relationships around her do not appear as they seem, and all the while her heart embarks on a journey toward Malcolm, a mysterious stranger she meets while waiting for a friend after work. As she untangles her web of emotions, Elyse must make a decision that could change the trajectory of her life.
