Beschreibung

Green circular volvelle set on p.[3] of a linen-backed board folder. Printed in black and white. Completely incomprehensible, but great fun, you could use it for fortune telling. A very good copy. HOW TO USE THE INDICATOR: Find the factor of the type face to be used; place indicator on iside scale to correspond with factor on outside scale; the number of characters in a line will then be indicated against the required measure. Example: Type face to be used is Baskerville, Series 169, 10 pt roman, set to 20 ems of pica, Factor for Baskerville, 10 ptpt roman =.375, Number of lc characters in a line=53.3.
