Steve Vernon, F.S.A., has helped Fortune 1000 employers design and manage their retirement programs for more than 35 years. During that time, he worked on the front lines of the extraordinary shift that's taken place in retirement plans, as companies move from traditional, defined benefit pension plans to 401(k) and other defined contribution plans. This significant change places a tremendous responsibility on individuals to generate a retirement income that lasts for life.
