Welcome to Covington Cove Island... where timeless charm and secrets intertwine, and every wave whispers a tale of hidden hearts and summer dreams.

Chloe Hayes is having a summer full of surprises.

First, she's one of the lucky few selected to work the most prestigious event on Covington Cove Island - the Covington Mansion Masquerade. She and her dad desperately need the money, especially after her car breaks down on her way there.

Then, a handsome stranger mistakes Chloe as his date and she spends the night pretending to be another girl, all while being swept off her feet by the charming Asher Blackwell.

Asher, from one of the wealthiest families on the island, eventually realizes Chloe isn't who she said she was. Instead of being upset, he asks her for a favor: pretend to be his girlfriend so he can get both his parents and notorious mean girl Isla Covington off his back. In return, Asher will pay off the money owed to fix Chloe's car.

In another twist, Chloe receives a video and clues to a scavenger hunt from the recently deceased Eleanor Covington. She isn't sure how to solve the clues, but she now has Asher on her side to help.

Except... fake dating Asher isn't as easy as Chloe thought. Between secrets kept and jealous girls, things don't go as well as she planned. And the clues? They're just as difficult to solve and twice as confusing.

Will Eleanor's riddles uncover secrets Chloe never thought possible?

Can Chloe and Asher put aside their differences and mistakes to follow their hearts?
