"A Memoir on British Resources of Sands Suitable for Glass-making" (1916) offers a detailed examination of sand deposits across Great Britain and their suitability for use in the glass manufacturing industry. Authored by P. G. H. Boswell, Arthur Alfred Eldridge, and Henry Francis Harwood, this technical memoir provides an invaluable resource for economic geologists, materials scientists, and historians of technology.

The book meticulously documents the geological properties, chemical composition, and distribution of various sand types, providing insights into their potential applications in glass production. It remains a significant historical record of industrial resource assessment during the early 20th century, reflecting the importance of indigenous raw materials in supporting British industry.
