This work is a re-evaluation of the true place occupied by Mary Magdalen and the group of women mentioned with her in the Gospels, mainly through an "exegesis of the silence" surrounding Luke 8:1-3. It is a revelatory assessment of the role played by women in Jesus's public life and the Early Church, especially that of the "Apostle to the Apostles".
