Carol Danvers's Captain Marvel has super-powers without equal. Monica Rambeau was a powerful woman with a powerful heritage even before she discovered her abilities. And Kamala Khan's Ms. Marvel is just beginning her Super Hero journey, following in the footsteps of her idols.

The three of them power the new film The Marvels and its epic adventure, and this picture book dives into who they are and what heroism means to them. And in the end, they show us how being a team is always stronger than standing alone. This heroic picture book packs a powerful message, befitting the super-powered women in this star-spanning story.

Pamela Bobowicz grew up in Massachusetts, impatiently waiting for her superpowers to kick in. When she realized she’d never be able to fly (afraid of heights), become invisible (too loud), or be a spy (can’t keep a secret), she moved to New York to become a children’s book editor and writer, and believes she’s been saving the world ever since. She is also the author of What Makes A Hero.

Alexandra Barboza is an illustrator and background painter in animation. She’s worked with Disney, Netflix Animation, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon while working on developing her own projects in her downtime. When she’s not drawing, Alex loves to curl up and catch up on the latest Marvel episodes with her beloved dog and cat, Ava and Noodle, with her partner, Mark.
